S&P UK partners with NBS Source to boost project specification

We are pleased to announce that we have become the first major ventilation manufacturer to join NBS Source – an online platform aimed at improving connections across the built environment whilst helping to improve trust and reliability for project specifications.

Introduced in 2020, NBS Source is an integrated global platform for everyone involved in the design, supply and construction of the built environment. It uses technology and cloud-based product catalogues to give designers, architects, and engineers the ability to effortlessly specify for their projects.

S&P UK join over 1,000 other manufacturers listed on the platform, detailing our extensive product range across commercial, industrial and residential applications.

NBS Source covers all aspects of construction, with all the product information needed for every stage of a project. The resource can be accessed from anywhere – on mobiles, tablets and web browsers.

Alex Finch, Managing Director at S&P UK, said: “We are thrilled to join the innovative NBS Source platform and showcase our high-quality, reliable products and services to a much wider audience to help improve project specification across the HVAC industry.

“Architects, designers and technicians can now review and easily select our specification-led portfolio and also view verified information on our profile, including our latest brochures, product data and other literature. We look forward to working more closely with specifiers and helping to achieve NBS Source’s aims of improving trust and reliability within the built environment.”

Among our specifiable range are products that have achieved the highly regarded Quiet Mark certification, including Silent Dual – the newest addition to our range of certified low-noise products

Quiet Mark is an independent global certification programme associated with the UK Noise Abatement Society charitable foundation. Its international award program recognises excellence in low-noise products, technology and solutions to unwanted noise.

Poppy Szkiler, CEO and Co-Founder of Quiet Mark, said: “S&P UK has achieved Quiet Mark certification consistently over the past nine years. With people spending more time indoors at home, near silent non-intrusive ventilation has never been more important.

“Only 10% to 20% of the quietest, best performing products are eligible for Quiet Mark certification and we are delighted that S&P UK’s range of Quiet Mark certified products will be listed on the integrated global platform for professionals to specify for the built environment.”
