S&P UK ‘Rising Star’ Kieran Ince shortlisted for Apprenticeship Awards 2021

 

Ventilation specialists S&P UK is pleased to announce Technical Engineer Apprentice Kieran Ince was a Rising Star finalist at the National Apprenticeship Awards 2021 – East of England.

 

Kieran joined S&P UK in 2016 and is currently studying towards a Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Engineering, supported and sponsored by S&P UK.

 

The 23-year-old achieved a Higher Level Apprenticeship in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) in the Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies in July 2021.

 

The 18-month Apprenticeship included a Distinction for a BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) as well as a NVQ Extended Diploma in Engineering Manufacture.

 

The Rising Star of the Year Award recognises apprentices who have made impressive career progression, go ‘above and beyond’ in their role, and inspire others to perform to their best.

 

Kieran, based in S&P UK’s Technical Support team, said: “I was absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted at the prestigious National Apprenticeship Awards 2021 for our region. S&P UK has given me so much support and kindness and I would like to thank everyone for investing so much in my skills and career development.

The National Apprenticeship Awards 2021 – East of England were held in an online ceremony on Thursday 21 October.
