Air vents (air inlets)

Air vents (air inlets)

Range of Air vents (air inlets)

  • To ensure proper ventilation of homes, current regulations require air to circulate from dry to damp rooms. To this end, dining rooms, bedrooms and living rooms must have inlet openings to allow air renovation in the home.

In order to ensure user comfort, aerators should be placed at a distance of more than 1.80 m from the ground, thus avoiding any inconvenience caused by air intake.

The air inlets in a house can be of two types: self-regulating and humidity adjustable. In the case of self-regulating inlets, the air flow through the aerator remains constant. A flexible interior element prevents sudden increases in flow due to wind action on the building façade.

  • In the case of humidity adjustable air intakes, the air flow through the aerator depends on the relative humidity of the indoor air. When the airflow is high, a damper located inside the aerator keeps the air flow open (maximum flow), while when the indoor relative humidity is low, the damper closes (minimum flow), reducing energy losses.

At S&P we offer different types of air inlets so you can select the ventilation solution that best suits your installation:

    ECA, acoustic self-adjusting aerators

The self-adjusting acoustic aerators of the ECA range are made of high-impact polystyrene. These aerators allow the renovation of air in a dwelling through the main rooms (lounge, living room and bedrooms). The aerators of the ECA range are available in flow rates of 22,30,36 and 45 m3 /h and are installed on joinery elements or attached to a wall bushing and are available in a wide range of colours to choose the solution that best suits each room.

SILEM KIT, self-adjusting aerators with silencer

Self-adjusting aerators with silencer from the Silem Kit range, prevent the renovation of air in the home in a quiet way. The SILEM KIT aerators allow air to enter through the main rooms: living room and bedrooms. These aerators are available in 22 and 30 m3/h sizes. They are installed on the wall and include a sheet metal sleeve of Ø 125 mm and 300 mm in length and external façade grid.

ECA-HY RA, humidity sensitive aerators with acoustic frame

The humidity sensitive aerators with acoustic frame of the ECA-HY RA range are made of high-impact polystyrene. These aerators have a variable flow rate of between 6 and 45 m3/h depending on the degree of humidity in the room, for a pressure difference of 20 Pa. ECA-HY RA aerators are installed on carpentry elements or attached to a wall opening sleeve and are available in a wide range of colours.
